Affiliate Study Abroad Program in Graz

Our affiliate program in Graz at the Karl Franzens-Universität is through the Binghamton University study abroad program. The historic city of Graz, a crossroad between Eastern and Western Europe, provides an interesting and friendly environment for the program. Students who have completed two years of college level German or the equivalent can perfect their German language skills and take courses in Germanic literature, Austrian history and culture and other liberal arts subject. In the fall semester the program is organized around a modular core curriculum taught in German by Graz faculty members expressly for the students on the program, such as German Language, intermediate or advanced, Austrian History, German and Austrian Literature, International Relations and Independent Reading. Access to regular university courses is available, although these courses may be difficult during the fall semester unless one's language proficiency is high.
